Visiting A Pennsylvania Christmas Tree Farm
Schyler, my fiance, and I weren’t able to make it out to a x-mas tree farm last year! Normally we buy a real Christmas tree every year but we had recently moved to the area and it just didn’t happen. I really wanted to get back to our usual tradition this year so we visited our first Pennsylvania Christmas tree farm just outside of Pittsburgh. The lighting turned out to be a little tricky to work with in the morning when we visited, but I’m so glad we were able to snap a few photos to remember the moment by with our tripod!
It wasn’t too cold on this sunny, Pennsylvania winter day so we bundled up with light winter layers! I love the 70’s look of my Liz Claiborne winter jacket plus it’s super warm and soft too. I wore a cream-toned cashmere turtleneck sweater underneath, one of my favorite sweaters and so classic! I thrifted this amazing wrangler belt at Goodwill that adds a rugged, backcountry touch to this look that I love. It looks amazing paired with my Levi’s wedgie jeans. A black wide brim hat and ABLE leather ankle boots complete the look.
Schyler’s look is a little more classy but still laid back. A forest green hoodie adds the perfect Christmas touch styled underneath a classic black winter coat and his tan beanie adds a warm neutral tone to the color story. He loves these comfortable, but just the right amount of “dressy”, J.Crew slacks and Johnston men’s dress shoes.
