After a year of living in Pittsburgh, I finally feel like I have a really good grasp of the city and everything it has to offer! I have found several stores and boutiques that I am obsessed with that I wanted to share with those of you who live in Pittsburgh or plan on visiting this beautiful city. I have done this same blog post for Nashville and Portland too, both of which are some of my most popular blog posts so I of course had to do one for Pittsburgh and I plan on sharing a top 20 soon too!

I’m finally back with the promised blog post sharing my top 20 unique boutiques in Pittsburgh! I shared my top 10 earlier last year if you want to check out that post. I have found a range of so many cute, fun boutiques to check out for those of you who live in Pittsburgh or plan on visiting this beautiful city! This guide has something for everyone from plants, to home decor, florals, clothes, and more! Alma Mercantile

This shop is my personal heaven! My favorite design style is boho chic and Alma Mercantile definitely fits into that category. I’ve already taken a few decor items home but I will certainly be heading back for one of everything at some point! If you are an interiors lover I would add this to your itinerary ASAP. It’s also a great spot to shop clothing and other great gift-able items.

Synthesis

This plant shop is located off of Walnut St., a very popular street in Pittsburgh with lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. Synthesis is filled with a variety of amazing plants as well as other home decor items, gift ideas, planters, and more! It’s a great shop to visit for plant lovers looking for a unique plant to add to their collection.

4121 Main

This is such a cute spot for not only coffee, but plants, flowers, gifts, and more! You can shop for yourself or a loved one while waiting for your latte. I’ve had their vanilla latte which was amazing! I definitely need to stop by 4121 Main again and pick up a plant or two. This spot is just off of Penn Ave in the Lawrenceville area of Pittsburgh, with tons of shops to check out near by.

Clothes Minded

Clothes Minded in Bloomfield is a super cool vintage store with lots of funky art lining the walls, tons of natural light, and these amazing retro floors. (For those of you that are new here, I worked in the interior design industry before I became a full time content creator and I still deeply admire interiors.) There are lots of gems to be found, definitely something for every one! Plus, they have a great selection of clothing for men.

Roxanne’s Dried Flowers

This unique store located in the Strip District is definitely worth checking out if you love flowers, plants, and pretty things! It’s a great place to look for decorative dried flowers, a new plant, and even gifts for friends and families. I found the most amazing palm leaves (exactly what I’ve been looking for) there that I plan on returning for at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend popping into Roxanne’s Dried Flowers while exploring the Strip District!

Vestis

I love the feel of this unique, upscale shop for high quality menswear made in the U.S.! The interiors are lovely and everything in the shop is perfectly curated. I would love to take Schyler here and try on everything in the shop, it’s that good. Vestis is definitely a gem for men’s clothing and the perfect spot pop into while hanging out in Pittsburgh’s popular Lawrenceville neighborhood!

Gold Dust Floral

This adorable shop on Butler, Gold Dust Floral, specializes in florals, plants, candles, and other fun home goods! They are definitely a go-to spot for a beautiful bouquet for your table but also for shopping cute home goods for yourself, friends, family, and loved ones. They also have a variety of houseplants for sale. The owners did a lovely job designing the space and it’s definitely a store I will be visiting often 😉

Workshop

Another super cute boutique with houseplants, home decor, and tons of gift options located in the Wilkinsburg neighborhood, just across the street from Madeleine’s Bakery! Workshop has a great selection of plants and a ton of awesome home goods and other cute handmade items. They also have a larger location on Penn Ave with some plants but more clothing and other goods that would be great to check out as well!

Stone + Sparrow

This ceramics Shop Stone + Sparrow located in the Wilkinsburg area of Pittsburgh offers a curated selection of beautiful handmade ceramics dinnerware, decor, and more. The owner’s studio is located in the shop as well so you can see the behind the scenes process a little bit which I thought was really cool! This is definitely a great spot to shop for yourself or a thoughtful, handmade gift for a friend or family member.

Kula Industries

Kula Industries, located in Lawrenceville, is an amazing vintage store with a perfectly curated selection of clothing, shoes, accessories, and more. The store is super cute too, the owner Meredith did an amazing job designing the space! She’s also amazing at her craft and actually re-works many of the pieces in her shop. I really admire everything she is doing there and definitely recommend checking out her shop for some vintage gems.

City Grows

I found plant heaven in Pittsburgh at City Grows on Butler! They have so many varieties of plants as well as a great selection of planters, macrame plant hangers, organic gardening products, and other plant related items. It’s a great spot to pop into for a new plant, a gift for a friend, or just a gift for yourself! They even have a back patio to check out as well so don’t miss it 😉

Whiskey Moon Boutique

If you’re looking for a boutique with a selection of trendy women’s clothing than Whiskey Moon is a great place to start. Not only that, the store also carries home goods, beauty & wellness, gifts, accessories, and more! The space is super cute with a back room and several changing rooms too, plus the owner is super friendly. Definitely one to add to your list of stores to check out!

Morrow & Dean

I loved the colorful + fun feel of this store when I visited! Morrow & Dean specializes in classic, feminine, and versatile pieces that are wardrobe staples and work for any occasion while focusing on high quality. It’s the perfect store to visit for a unique item to add to your closet! Located on Butler St. in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood.

Eons Fashion Antique

Eons Fashion Antique in Shadyside has an amazing selection of vintage & retro clothing, accessories, and costumes for men and women from pretty much every era! The decor there is amazing too, make sure to look up so you don’t miss the hat box collection, retro art prints, and celebrity photos. It’s definitely a super cool store you won’t want to miss!

Hey Betty

Hey Betty in Shadyside is located on the same street as Eons so you can hit both of these spots back to back! You can find tons of amazing vintage finds from every era here. Plus, vintage accessories and home decor too. There is something amazing around every corner here!

Mix Candle Co.

Mix Candle Co. is definitely a fun spot to check out, especially if you want to do something a little different! They have an amazing selection of candles with some of the most unique scent’s I’ve seen. Not only that, you can make custom scents in store! They also host group candle pours, family candle making, bachelorette parties and more. It would be fun for a date night too 😀

Fifty One Ten Vintage

Fifty One Ten Vintage on Penn in the Garfield/Friendship area of Pittsburgh. I was super impressed with their amazing collection of vintage/band tees for men and women but besides that, there are a ton of gems to be found on those racks! It’s definitely an amazing spot to check out for a curated vintage selection.

Zed’s

Zed’s in Pittsburgh’s South Side Flats, is your one stop shop to buy, sell, and trade men’s clothing. They have an amazing selection of vintage shirts, sweaters, shoes, and more so if you are a guy who loves vintage than this is a boutique you won’t want to miss! I love all of the vintage memorabilia too.

Pavement

Pavement is another awesome store for women’s clothing located on Butler St. in Lawrenceville! At Pavement you can find a curated selection of local, indie, and sustainable designers most of which are manufactured in the U.S. I love the creative feel of the store and their amazing selection of clothing, shoes, and accessories.

Number Fourteen

Another great boutique for women’s clothing is Number Fourteen! This fun, girly store is filled with trendy, feminine clothing, shoes, accessories, and more. It’s a great spot to shop for yourself or a loved one. It’s also close to several coffee shops and a french bakery, perfect for a lovely afternoon of shopping!
