I debated whether or not to try and do a Halloween costume this year… I have been so exhausted going into the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy and I thought maybe it would be better not to add extra stress to my plate. But then I thought this might be the only Halloween I ever experience while being pregnant, so I decided I better do it. The day before Halloween this Winnie the Pooh maternity Halloween costume idea came to me. I had seen it on Pinterest earlier in the month and realized it would be super easy for me to pull together with pieces I already had and a little thrifting. It ended the perfect costume for baby and I!

My mom took me to a pumpkin patch in the Gilbert area of Arizona called Mother Nature’s Farm. I was very excited to get some maternity photos at the pumpkin patch with my 6 month pregnant belly! It was a little bit of a fiasco trying to snap these photos because two school buses full of children arrived and there were surprisingly a lot of families there on a Tuesday at open. That’s okay though lol, the pumpkin patch is for everyone to enjoy obviously and we were able to manage to get some good shots. I can’t believe how much baby boy has grown and it was so funny seeing the comparison between my baby bump and a mini orange pumpkin!
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and I can’t believe how quickly this year is going by! May is always a busy month with Memorial Day weekend, Mother’s Day and more plus it’s Schyler’s birthday month. I wanted to get this blog post up earlier but I had my nephew Brio’s baptism come up in Salem, OR so I am just now getting around to rounding up my gift ideas today! I wanted to share some chic, neutral, and cozy gift ideas that any mom at any age would love. I’ve included items at all different price points so there is something for everyone!
While scouting for new local shops in our hometown of Tri-Cities, WA (I can’t believe we’ve been back a month already!) we found this amazing heart mural! It’s located in the alley of the Uptown Mall in Richland, WA where I used to work once upon a time. I knew it would be perfect for a fun Valentine’s themed photo shoot and it certainly was! 😉
Vintage Inspired Valentine’s Day Couples Shoot
By Esperanza on February 7, 2023Since we have been back home in Tri-Cities, WA, Schyler and I have been amazed at how many cute shops, murals, and new businesses have opened in the past 6+ years we’ve been gone! We saw this white brick wall while scouting for photo spots and antiquing at the retro Uptown Mall in Richland and thought it would be perfect for a fun Valentine’s photo shoot. These vintage inspired looks were very fitting for the location 😉 We picked up these fun pink and red balloons, the perfect prop for a Valentine’s shoot!
I couldn’t help but round up some of the super cute Valentine’s decor I was spotting at Target! These finds are perfect for a Valentine’s (or Galentine’s day ;)!) party but would make very cute gift ideas for someone special too. I won’t really be decorating this year as we aren’t in our own place right now (we are temporarily staying with Schyler’s dad) but it was really fun for me to put this together and I hope it’s helpful for those of you looking for some Valentine’s day inspo. I hope you guys love these finds!
I just shared my Valentine’s Gift Guide for her in my last blog post (linked here) and I wanted to share a gift guide for “him” too! I’ve rounded up a ton of classic and timeless gift ideas for your friends, brother, husband, son, etc. There is definitely something for every budget from investment pieces to fun affordable finds and of course, chocolate! I hope you guys have a wonderful holiday this February 2023 however you choose to celebrate it <3
I can’t believe Valentine’s day is just around the corner! This year has flown by what with our big move across the country (read more here) but we are finally back in a good work/life routine. I am getting this guide up on February 2nd so I am right on schedule (so proud of myself ;P). I’ve rounded up a bunch of gift ideas for the “her” in your life whether that’s your sister, wife, partner, galentine, whatever! They are all at different price points, a few splurges and investment pieces but some affordable fun ideas too. I’ve listed all of the items in the guide above below in order!
Merry Christmas! We snapped these Christmas photos at home before the apartment was turned upside down with the whole moving process. If you missed my last blog post, (linked here) I revealed that we are moving to Las Vegas in the new year! We knew we were moving a little before I made the announcement so we shot our Christmas photos early while all of our decorations and furniture arrangements were still intact. In reality the loft is half empty and most of our things are in boxes already which seems a little sad for the holiday but I don’t even care because I am so excited for the new move!
I shared some outfit inspiration for Thanksgiving so I thought I would share some outfit ideas for any of your holiday/Christmas celebrations this year! These looks are all very chic, some on the dressier side, a few on the more casual side, and easy to re-create. The pieces in these outfits are a mix of thrifted, vintage, and name brand sustainable finds. I’ve linked the exact and similar pieces below each look! I hope you guys find these posts helpful, hopefully they will inspire your party looks this holiday season.
