One of the things that I love most about Portland are all the coffee shops! I’ve been to a ton of cities in the United States and in my opinion, none of them have as good of a coffee scene as Portland does. I guess we just love coffee over here! Aside from serving amazing coffee, Portland coffee shops put a lot of thought in designing beautiful spaces to enjoy your coffee in. In my opinion, the aesthetic is equally as important as the coffee! In this series, I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite Portland coffee shops with you guys. Today, I am talking about Peaks Coffee on Hawthorne.

During my recent trip to Charleston, my friend Carly and I wanted to stay in Mount Pleasant so that we could have easier access to the beach! We also wanted to experience a quieter feel and get to know the areas around Charleston a little more. While doing a search for hotels in the Mount Pleasant area, I found the cutest little Inn, The Inn at I’On. This was my first time staying at an Inn and I loved it! We enjoyed our stay there so much that I wanted to share it with all of you 😀

A few weeks ago, I flew to Charleston for a girls trip with my old friend Carly. Both of us had wanted to visit Charleston for awhile so we decided to just book the tickets. I’m so glad we got the chance to go! Charleston is such a charming little city with a ton of history. I loved the Georgian style architecture, the beautiful homes, and colorful buildings in downtown Charleston. It’s a pretty small city that feels more like a big town so it was super easy to get around by foot, bike, and rental car. The people in Charleston are super friendly and greet you in the streets. The city also has a noise ordinance at night in the historic district so it was really nice walking around at night. It really is a lovely city! In this post, I am sharing my favorite things to do in Charleston as well as the restaurants and hotels we visited during our trip.

I visited the Headlands Lodge & Spa in Pacific City Oregon for a girl’s trip with my sister and our friend Jensyn. It was such a perfect getaway and definitely a much needed trip! Pacific City is one of my favorite beach towns to visit on the Oregon Coast. The next time I visit, I will definitely be staying at Headlands again!

While visiting my best friend Elle in Florida, we decided to take a road trip to New Orleans for the weekend! I have always wanted to visit New Orleans so I’m really glad I got the chance to visit with Elle. It was a super quick trip but we manage to squeeze in so much! New Orleans is such a cool city with so much culture and color around every corner. It’s one of those cities that has something beautiful to photograph everywhere. Elle has been my best friend for over 12 years but she is in the Air Force so we only get to see each other about once a year and mainly stay in touch by phone. She was stationed in Pensacola for some training so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to spend some time together! Glamping at The Vintages

Rocio and I got the chance to go glamping at The Vintages in Dayton, OR. You guys, this vintage trailer resort is the CUTEST glamping spot. We had so much fun getting dressed up in vintage inspired outfits (of course), hanging out in our trailer, and riding cruiser bikes. The Vintages are about an hour from our home in Portland so it was the perfect weekend getaway! Rocio and I both love photography and videography so we took advantage of the cute surroundings. I’m so excited to share these photos with you!

On our recent trip to San Francisco, we stayed at the the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel. The glamorous InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel is located on beautiful Nob Hill, which makes for some amazing views of the city! You’ll know you’ve arrived when you spot the grand entrance on the corner of Mason and California. The entrance is designed for cars to drive in and be handed off to valet. Red carpet stairs lead you into the luxurious lobby boasting crystal chandeliers, marble tile floors, and velvet armchairs. I was immediately transported to a more elegant time when I stepped in!

For our four year anniversary, Schyler and I decided to visit San Francisco to celebrate. My sister Rocio came along for the ride. We road tripped all the way from Portland, OR and spent 3 days in San Francisco. We had such a great time! This was my third time visiting San Francisco so I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Hey guys! I’m so excited to be sharing my travels with you this year. So far I’ve been on two trips this March and I have two more exciting trips coming up in April. I love traveling! It’s a huge passion of mine and I’m so glad I’ve been able to turn it into part of my job. I’m hoping I can give you a sense of wanderlust and share some cool cities, hotels, and restaurants, etc. with you.

On my recent trip to Chicago, I was able to work with the Ambassador Hotel Chicago. Rocio and I had the most amazing stay at the hotel! The interiors were beautiful, the view from our room was amazing, and the food and drinks were on point.
