I can’t believe Valentine’s day is just around the corner! This year has flown by what with our big move across the country (read more here) but we are finally back in a good work/life routine. I am getting this guide up on February 2nd so I am right on schedule (so proud of myself ;P). I’ve rounded up a bunch of gift ideas for the “her” in your life whether that’s your sister, wife, partner, galentine, whatever! They are all at different price points, a few splurges and investment pieces but some affordable fun ideas too. I’ve listed all of the items in the guide above below in order!
I’m manifesting more moments and places like this for 2023! My fiance Schyler and I are all settled in to our room at his dad’s house where we have been staying for a few weeks already (time has flown by). If you are new here, we are in the process of moving from Pittsburgh to Las Vegas, more on that in this blog post here. We are loving being home in Eastern Washington, especially now that so many cute spots have opened up in our hometown of Tri-Cities, WA and it has been great to visit with family too! Schyler and I decided to drive out to the Hanford Reach National Monument in the beautiful Colombia Basin to explore and shoot some outdoor photos. It was absolutely stunning just before twilight and I’m so glad we were able to capture it together!
I asked my fiance Schyler to shoot a few lingerie photos for me in our Pittsburgh loft apartment just before we moved. I’m turning 30 next year and we plan to start our family very soon which made me realize that I had never captured myself/my body in this way before. I guess I always felt too embarrassed to take “sexy” photos like these, thinking I would look like I was trying to get attention, or maybe it’s the traditional Catholic values I was raised with that made me feel too ashamed to pose for photos like these. But over the years I’ve learned so much and grown a lot and I am very proud of the strong, independent, (yet very sensitive), and yes BEAUTIFUL woman that I am today and that deserves to be celebrated!
Merry Christmas! We snapped these Christmas photos at home before the apartment was turned upside down with the whole moving process. If you missed my last blog post, (linked here) I revealed that we are moving to Las Vegas in the new year! We knew we were moving a little before I made the announcement so we shot our Christmas photos early while all of our decorations and furniture arrangements were still intact. In reality the loft is half empty and most of our things are in boxes already which seems a little sad for the holiday but I don’t even care because I am so excited for the new move!
I thought it was about time to share another life update on here with you guys and just in time because we finally decided to move forward on something we have been talking about for over a year now… we are moving to Las Vegas! I know it seems kind of sudden, but we have been deliberating this move for months now and for so many reasons so I thought I would spill the details in this blog post! Although it’s the holidays and the next few weeks are going to be crazy, it will be so worth it and we can’t wait to “put down roots” there.

I have been obsessed with sweater vests for so long but I really feel like they have been having a big moment this year!
