Since moving to Nashville this past January, I have been super impressed with the boutiques I’ve visited in the city! You can find everything from aesthetic plant shops to chic skin care boutiques and of course tons of amazing clothing boutiques. There’s something for everyone! In this blog post I’m sharing my 8 favorite boutiques that I’ve visited. These are all awesome places to stop by on a trip to Nashville!
If you guys have been following along with me for a while, then you know I’m a huge fan of vanilla lattes and cute coffee shops in general! Nashville actually has a ton of great coffee shops luckily for me. I haven’t been to even half of them yet but I rounded up my five favorites from the spots I have been able to visit. I’m so glad to finally be sharing our Nashville apartment tour! For those of you guys that are new here, I moved across the country (a 46 hour drive!) from Portland, OR, to Nashville, TN with my boyfriend and labradoodle puppy Indio. We could only bring whatever fit in the back of my jeep! So it took me quite a while to collect enough decor and furniture to fill this apartment, especially on a small budget, but I did it lol. The complex we live in, The Anson, is a brand new apartment complex so the interiors are all updated and very modern which I love, but I really wanted my apartment to have a bohemian feel to it. So I hit up a ton of thrift stores and found super cute bohemian home decor + furniture pieces (which inspired me to start Urban Darling Shop!) and I love the result of my modern, bohemian apartment.
Calling all coffee lovers; now you can have your coffee and eat it too! Did you know that coffee and cereal are ranked as the top two most consumed breakfast items making them the ultimate breakfast go-to’s to help start your day? Post Cereals and Dunkin’ teamed up to combine these two breakfast essentials and created two new cereals made with Dunkin’ coffee, rolling out nationwide beginning in August!
During our time in Nashville, we have been to some fabulous restaurants! I love restaurants that serve not only great food but a great atmosphere through interiors and aesthetics as well. It’s the interior designer in me! ;P I’ve compiled my 8 favorite restaurants to share in this blog post with you guys, but there are so many other great restaurants as well. I’m so excited to share this blog post with you guys especially because I have been working on it for several months now lol! I’m obsessed with cool murals and there are so many fun ones in Nashville so I knew I just had to make a Nashville Mural Guide. I’ve broken down the murals into neighborhoods to make it easier for those of you who are visiting the city and are unfamiliar with the areas. It makes it easier if you know which ones are close together when you are planning out your travel itinerary!
Meal time is Indio’s favorite part of the day! When I brought Indio (my standard male labradoodle) home from the breeder, she had a specific puppy food brand that she wanted me to feed him. Normally, dogs need to eat puppy food until they are about 18 months old! Now that Indio is nearing adulthood (I can’t believe it!), I wanted to re-evaluate the dog food we feed him. Ever since I started post videos about my plants on my TikTok I have gotten so many plant questions from beginners. So I thought I would share my 5 favorite, easy to care for house plants! Schyler and I moved to Nashville, TN about 4 months ago. What we love about Nashville is that there are so many cool things to do, places to shop, and delicious dining! It’s not a huge city so you can get to a lot pretty easily. Nashville is the country music capital of the United States so naturally the city is filled with music history! You can hit Broadway St. any day for live music at the honky tonks. Luckily for me, there are tons of cool murals, old buildings, and neon signs to shoot at (my favorite backdrops). So I thought I would share my top favorite Nashville Instagram spots with you guys! I’ve left tips and addresses too to help you guys out 🙂
