Luxembourg is a very small country that borders France, Germany and Belgium. On our recent trip to Europe my sister and I decided to take a train from Cologne, Germany to Luxembourg City (about 4 hours and 30 min) where we stayed for a few days. It’s a beautiful city with a lot of French influence in it’s architecture and gardens. We absolutely loved it! In this blog post I will be sharing places to see, where to stay, and restaurants to eat at.
On our recent trip to Europe, Rocio and I spent a couple days in Cologne Germany. We really only had about a day and a half but we were able to squeeze in a ton of great spots! What’s great about Cologne is that it’s a small city so it’s easy to get around in. Almost everyone spoke English and there were Wi-Fi stations all over the city. It’s a cute city to stop in on a trip to Germany!
Amsterdam is an incredibly unique city with something beautiful to see around every corner. From the canals lined with house boats, flowers, and bikes to the stunning dutch architecture, it truly is a Instagrammer’s dream! This was my second time visiting the city but my first time visiting Amsterdam with my sister. Rocio has always wanted to visit Amsterdam so it was really cool re-discovering the city through her eyes and exploring areas I didn’t get to see on my last trip. Earlier this summer Rocio, Indio, and I got to stay in the cutest Getaway cabin near Mt. Adams in Washington! I had seen these cabins all over Instagram and Pinterest so I was really excited to stay in their new Washington campground. It was only about an hour and a half outside of Portland so it was the perfect weekend trip! The campground is full of these amazing modern cabins.
I have had back problems for several years now because I’m always at my desk working on my laptop or hunching over my phone. It’s a known fact that people who work desk jobs struggle with back pain. I do yoga and get up every half hour but I wanted to do something more to combat the tension. That’s when I found Root Whole Body in NW Portland! I’ve been visiting Root Whole Body for a few months now and it has been exactly what I needed! They have a location in SE as well but the NW location is the newer location.
On my recent trip to Europe, my sister and I got to stay at the Jaz in the City hotel in Amsterdam! It’s a hip boutique hotel just outside the city. Rocio and I loved everything about this hotel! Our suite on the top floor had an amazing view and it was absolutely gorgeous. I really loved the music inspired design of our room. Actually, the overall design of the hotel is music inspired!

I hadn’t been to New York since I was in elementary school, so on my recent trip to Europe, I decided to stop in New York to explore the city as an adult with my sister Rocio. I absolutely fell in love with New York! We had such an amazing time there. It definitely helped that we stayed at an amazing hotel in Times Square, LUMA hotel.
