My little sister who is graduating in a few weeks, asked me to DIY some decorations for her party. She loved these hanging flower poms. She loves pretty flowers and girly colors so I bought some brightly colored artificial flowers from Walmart for these poms. What’s great about this DIY is that once you have made them, you can store them to use for other events! They’re the perfect decoration for a baby shower, bridal shower, or a girl’s birthday party.

Rome is an amazing city with so much history. You have to visit Rome on a trip to Italy! I got the chance to spend a three day weekend in Rome with my best friend Elle. We took a train from Florence, Italy and stayed at the Hostel Alessandro Downtown. The following is a list of my top five must see places in Rome, although there are of course many more.
Summer has finally arrived in the Pacific Northwest and I seriously could not be more thrilled! I am definitely a warm weather kind of gal. I was really excited to finally be able to whip out some of the summer dresses I bought months ago in anticipation of sunny days.
Located in the lobby of the Society Hotel, this coffee spot is a total gem! The Society Cafe is also a lounge and bar that servesĀ coffee, fresh pastries, beer from local breweries, and some of the best wine in the Chehalem Valley. I really love their chai latte; it’s not too spicy and not too sweet. It’s just perfect! The lounge is very roomy with sofasĀ and window seating. I love the blue/grey cabinetry, marble counters and tables, and the wooden accents.

You can hang this shelf in any room for a little extra cuteness and mid-century modern vibes. I love that you can style it any way you want with some books, plants, or knick-knacks.

The Alberta Arts District is a neighborhood in Portland, Oregon that stretches from Williams Ave to 33rd Ave. Since it is one of the oldest sections of Portland, it’s extremely independent and diverse. It’s lined with shops, restaurants, bars, and galleries. There is something for everyone! Walking down the street, you’ll see murals everywhere making this neighborhood colorful and vibrant.Ā My favorite section is from 14th to 23rd! Venice is a unique and charming city, with so much history. It’s hard to believe, but it’s built on more than 100 islands with no roads, only bridges. Venetians travel by foot, boat, or gondola in style! The Grand Canal runs through the heart of the city and is lined with Renaissance and Gothic era palaces. Everything feels and looks so delicate and old, which adds to its charm.
