There’s something special about packing up the car on a whim and heading somewhere new, especially as a family. Our spontaneous trip to Santa Fe turned into one of those unexpectedly perfect getaways—equal parts adventure and relaxation. From the moment we arrived at El Rey Court, we felt like we had discovered a place that truly captured the spirit of the Southwest while still being welcoming and comfortable for traveling with a toddler.
We had the best time on our trip to Flagstaff and an amazing stay at High Country Motor Lodge! Formerly a roadside motel, the property has been renovated into a beautiful 4 star boutique hotel. It’s located minutes from downtown Flagstaff which made it really easy for us to sneak back for Sage’s naps in between exploring the city. It was the perfect hotel for our first family trip! With a unique nordic spa experience in a mountain setting, a cocktail bar & lounge, and it’s convenient location I couldn’t recommend this hotel more for your visit to this Arizona mountain town. During our recent trip to New York City, we stayed at the Garden Suites Hotel by Affinia for two nights. The hotel was only a 10 min walk from Central Park and very centrally located to everything we wanted to do in Manhattan so it was the perfect spot for us! We stayed in a suite with two queen beds, a separate living and dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. It was so nice having a spacious hotel room for three during our stay!
On my recent trip to Europe, my sister and I got to stay at the Jaz in the City hotel in Amsterdam! It’s a hip boutique hotel just outside the city. Rocio and I loved everything about this hotel! Our suite on the top floor had an amazing view and it was absolutely gorgeous. I really loved the music inspired design of our room. Actually, the overall design of the hotel is music inspired!
I hadn’t been to New York since I was in elementary school, so on my recent trip to Europe, I decided to stop in New York to explore the city as an adult with my sister Rocio. I absolutely fell in love with New York! We had such an amazing time there. It definitely helped that we stayed at an amazing hotel in Times Square, LUMA hotel.
I recently did a girl’s trip to Las Vegas with my sister and two of our friends. I’d never been to Vegas before so I got to check another U.S. city off my list! Woohoo! During our visit, we stayed at the new Tru by Hilton hotel. We had such a great experience at the hotel. I loved the vibrant and unique design of the hotel and it was super affordable; a must for any value-conscious traveler! My favorite part about our stay was the coffee station and the Tru Top It Breakfast bar, both of which were free. Who doesn’t love that?!
On our recent trip to San Francisco, we stayed at the the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel. The glamorous InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel is located on beautiful Nob Hill, which makes for some amazing views of the city! You’ll know you’ve arrived when you spot the grand entrance on the corner of Mason and California. The entrance is designed for cars to drive in and be handed off to valet. Red carpet stairs lead you into the luxurious lobby boasting crystal chandeliers, marble tile floors, and velvet armchairs. I was immediately transported to a more elegant time when I stepped in!
