Santa Fe has a way of pulling you in. Between the adobe architecture, vibrant art scene, and endless sunshine, it’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and savor everything, especially the food. On a recent two-day trip, my husband, our toddler, and I made it a point to find spots that were not only delicious but also welcoming and full of charm. We ended up discovering five places that felt just right. Cute, memorable, and perfect for a little family adventure.
Living in Phoenix, I’ve definitely figured out what I like when it comes to going out: if it’s not cute, aesthetic, and actually has good food or coffee, I’m probably not going. Lately, I’ve been trying a mix of newer spots and long-awaited ones with friends and family, and a few have really stood out. These are all places I’ve personally been to recently—and would genuinely go back to.
While visiting Detroit, we ate at several amazing restaurants, which is one of our favorite things to do together. Andrew is a chef, so it’s always fun for us to try new things together, and I love finding restaurants with beautiful interiors. It’s a great way to get a “taste” for the local flavor and vibe of the locals. In this blog post, I wanted to highlight the restaurants, cafes, and coffee shops we ate at while visiting “motor city”.
Andrew and I always make an effort to have one date night a week, and a lot of the times when we do, we love trying out new restaurants! Andrew is a chef, and we are both big foodies, but I love finding spots that have beautiful interiors as well. There are coffee shops, cafes, and fine dining restaurants located all over the Phoenix metro area.
After a year of living in Pittsburgh, restaurants are finally starting to open back up which I’m thrilled about! I love amazing food + interiors with great ambience. My background is in interior design so I really appreciate beautiful spaces, especially in commercial design. In this blog post I will be sharing some of the Pittsburgh restaurants I love and I will be adding to the list as I discover new spots. I hope this blog post will be helpful for not only Pittsburgh locals but tourists visiting the city!
