We celebrated my 29th birthday this week with a city outing, games, and cake of course! 😉 I can’t believe I’m only one year away from 30, which is both exciting and a little frightening to me at the same time… I’m looking forward to our destination wedding next year (we are shooting for late spring, more on that soon) and hopefully starting our family next year! These discussions have made me reflect on myself and what I want for my life more than ever.
I thought it would be fun to style some classic white, summer pieces in 3 Fourth of July inspired looks! I had a ton of fun styling these looks with thrifted purses and new sustainable pieces from ABLE and Grey State. I popped in some red and blue accents for that patriotic feel and channeled some retro vibes as well. Phoenix is such a cute southwestern city that should be on everyone’s list of U.S. travel destinations! The sunny weather there is perfect for vacations and the people there are friendly. From what I learned while chatting with the local business owners, so many new trendy spots have opened up making it a great spot to visit for tourists. I wanted to share a few of the outfits that I have been wearing on repeat during the end of this spring season! These outfits are a combo of new and old pieces from some of my favorite sustainable brands + amazing thrifted finds. I’ve worn these casual looks for coffee shop work sessions, thrifting trips, and running errands in the city! My classic Levi’s jacket has been the perfect layering piece to throw on if the weather has ever been on the cooler side. I’ve linked exact and similar pieces for each look throughout the post!

During my Phoenix visit, I was able to meet my parent’s horse Maverick! My parents retired in the Phoenix area 3+ years ago now and board a horse nearby. Growing up on a farm in Eastern Washington, my parents had a ton of horses, so I grew up training and riding horses. Since graduating high school, I’ve always lived in a city so I don’t really get the chance to ride horses often. It was so fun getting the chance to ride again after 5+ years!
