Ever since moving to Pittsburgh, my favorite thrift store has been Thriftique in Lawrenceville! They have an amazing selection of clothes for men, women, and children as well as furniture. I almost always find exactly what I’m looking for on my visits there which is awesome! This thrift store is actually ran by the NCJW (National Council of Jewish Women) and they are a non profit so their proceeds benefit women and children in need in Pittsburgh. I am a huge fan of rugs and had been wanting to find the right ones for our Pittsburgh apartment for awhile! I had some rugs that my parents gave me from Colombia but they weren’t the right size for the spaces I had in mind so it was time for a makeover! I had seen some amazing looking rugs from Ruggable and what really drew me to them was the fact that their rugs are machine washable. My apartment sees a lot of life between the three of us so long term, a machine washable rug seemed like the perfect choice!

I can’t believe it’s been over a year that we picked up and moved across the country in my Jeep to Nashville then Pittsburgh! We have been living in Pittsburgh now for a little over 6 months and I am happy to say that we are almost 80% done decorating our new apartment. It was challenging to decorate after starting over from scratch in a much bigger space but it’s going to be amazing when everything is “finished”. I had been searching + envisioning the perfect armchairs for the reading/coffee nook in our living room for so many ones and then finally found the perfect ones on Burrow.
My standard labradoodle Indio is two years old this month! I can’t believe how fast time has flown by. We gave him a birthday “cake” last year and he loved it so much so we got him another one this year to celebrate. He is such a funny guy… a little naughty at times, but he always makes us laugh and is a huge part of our little family now!
I love baskets! They are so useful and can look amazing and really had to the aesthetic of your home if you pick the right ones. I’ve rounded up my favorite baskets on Amazon that have a boho chic feel to them (my favorite style ;P) but most of these are neutral enough to fit into any home decor style.
Over Thanksgiving, my family and I stopped by Joshua Tree National Park on our way to Palm Springs. I have always wanted to see Joshua Tree so I was super excited to finally get the chance. I can’t even describe what a beautiful, magical place Joshua Tree is. It looked like a place not out of this world… like Aliens put it there or something lol! We didn’t get to see everything the park had to offer because we were only there for a day but I wanted to share my favorite spots that we did see.
